the present day computers.
Along with
advancement of technology, Medical
Transcription has also advanced
in leaps and bounds. Of late, Speech
Recognition Technology is being
used to dictate and process medical
reports in most of the MT Companies.
The future of Medical Transcription,
as of today, is in use of Speech
Recognition Technology. With the
advent of this technology, manual
typing has been eliminated. The
Recognition percentage in most of
the leading speech recognition softwares
is around 80% to 85%. This eliminates
the need to manually type the medical
reports and one can start off his/her
career in Medical Transcription
as a Proofer or Senior Proofer or
Editor, etc., which again varies
from company to company.
And
remember, a qualified and experienced
Medical Transcriptionist is always
in great demand. |
