What
is the Recruitment Process @ FocusMT India?
The below write-up
will explain the process of recruitment
@ FocusMT India for all home-based employees.
Please go through the below process. If

| Eligibility:
Candidates should have at least 2 years MT
experience (apart from training duration). |

There is more
than one way for you to approach FocusMT India.
Apply online through
our website.
Walk into any of our offices.
Your friends might refer you to us and we
contact you. |

| Step1: |
Once
you apply and/or are approached
by FocusMT, your profile is captured
in our database with the basic contact
details.
After your profile
with the basic contact details is
created in the database, we will
send you a URL (you just need to
copy and paste the link to your
Internet Browser). Using this link,
you can update your profile from
the comfort of your house itself.
Once you complete updating your
own profile, you need to inform
the Recruitment Manager that you
have submitted your complete profile. |
| Step2: |
The
Recruitment Manager will take things
forward for you and assign the Theory
(LOM) Test and the Transcription/proofing
tests through our Centralized Online
Testing Software (COTS). Using this
software, you can take up the tests
at the comfort of your house. If FocusMT
India has an office in your city,
you need to come to our office to
take up the tests. |
| Step3: |
You
will have a minimum of 3 transcription
tests and 2 proofing tests with maximum
length of the files being 7-10 minutes
approximately in total duration for
all the files. You can expect to complete
the tests in about 3-4 hours’
time maximum, though you have a total
of 10 hours’ time to complete
the tests, LOM + Transcription/Proofing
tests. |
| Step4: |
Once
you complete the transcription/proofing
test, please allow us 3 working days
to evaluate your profile. If you clear
the tests, your profile will be discussed
with the respective managers and propose
you for a suitable designation (based
on your performance in the transcription/proofing
tests and your prior MT experience)
after 4 days of you completing the
tests. |
| Step5: |
You
will be scheduled for a telephonic
interview with our Production Team.
Once you are selected and designated,
the Recruitment Manager will hold
discussions with you regarding the
designation offered, compensation,
growth opportunities, benefits provided
by the company, facilities offered,
etc. This step will happen immediately
after you are designated by the Production
Team. An Offer Letter will be issued
to you on the same day by the Recruitment
Team with your expected Date of Joining. |
| Step6: |
On
the scheduled Date of Joining, you
need to come down to the work location
you report. You will report to the
HR Executive of that work location
for the New Hire Joining Formalities
where you will need to sign the Letter
of Appointment, Employment Agreement,
Confidentiality Contract, etc. You
need to bring copies of all relevant
documents and submit them to the HR
Dept. at the time of joining. |
| Step7: |
Once
you are done with the Joining Formalities
and sign the employment papers, we
will take the induction process forward
in your reporting work location. You
will be put across to the respective
Production Team, who will start the
induction process on the platform
that you have been selected for. You
will be expected to spend 1 to 3 days
in your reporting work location for
the induction program at your own
cost. |

| HBE Program will be extended to all MT candidates across India from 01-April-2011 |

The HBE has
to present physically at his/her respective
work location 3 days in a month. |
2. |
The HBE has
to be present physically for the new
hire formalities and induction at
his/her respective work location. |
3. |
The HR Executive
of the work location will take care
of the new hire joining formalities
and induction will be handed over
to the Production Team. |
4. |
Work timings
– 6 am to 5:59 am will be considered
a working day for that day, i.e.,
if HBE works on 01-March-010 from
10 pm to 6 am (02-March-2010), this
will be considered as working day
for 01-March-2010. |
